About the event
Birdwatching is known to decrease stress and promote feelings of calm, awe, and interconnection with the natural world. By creating habitat at home, you can invite birds into your outdoor space and get a glimpse into their incredible life stories. Join Morrigan DeVito of the Red Rock Audubon Society to learn more about the different bird species you can attract, the seasonal movements you can expect throughout the year, and how to create a healthy habitat for them. You will learn about the ways that native plants provide different food and nesting resources, as well as other habitat additions to create a bird-friendly home. At the Red Rock Audubon Society, we know that a bird-friendly community isn't just good for birds, it's good for people too. Class is free and open to all.
